Government Coup Neutrality U.S.A. Intervention Syria Peace Adib Shishakly

The United States created a coup against the neutralist goverment in Syria. The coup came into effect and these newspaper and stations would annouce the government legitimate. In 1963, a Military coup in Syria brings a party to power to rule in Syria. The Ba'th party had a ruler name Hafiz al-Assad and take control of military coup.

Syria's second coup was forward by Brigadier General Sami al Hinnawi, who arrested Zaim and Prime Minister Muhsin al Barazi on 1949. After a trial before the Council of War, both were executed. Under the provisional government of Hashim al Atassi, a new electoral law was adopted, and women voted for the first time in the election of November 15-16, 1949. Although Hinnawi's coup returned Syrian government to civilian politicians, the army remained watchful in the background.

A third coup d'état, led by Adib Shishakly, a former chief of police and head of security, occurred in December. The constituent assembly promulgated a new constitution in September 1950 and, assuming responsibility as the chamber of deputies, elected the provisional chief of state Hashim al-Atasi, an elderly and respected politician, to the presidency.

Mainly the U.S.A. issued a coup in 1956 to ovethrow the government so they could acheive their goals in the Middle East. The coup failed after many tries but succeeded in showing U.S.A.'s arrogance and attitude towards other countries to achieve their own goals. Although with some good intentions to stop communist thinking, it was unnecessary for the U.S.A. to do so.
